I've always been a hands-on person, and over the course of the last few years I've taken a liking to woodworking, in particular working with “live-edge” materials. Rather than try to create something from scratch, I like to figure out the best use for a particular slab. Basically I let the wood tell me what it wants to be. Currently all of my work is made out of copper beech that came from a 140+ year old tree on my property. I milled this wood myself, dried it in my own hot house, and do the majority of the work with hand tools. Each piece of wood is entirely unique, making each finished work a one of a kind piece of art.

All of the pieces in the gallery below have gone to good homes, but I'm working on a new batch of similar ones as well as a few new ideas. Drop me a line if you're interested and I'll let you know what's about to be available for sale.
